NHAC Logo Contest!

The North Haven Arts Collaborative is excited to invite our community to help design our official logo. Please review the following guidelines before submitting your entry.

Eligibility

• Open to all! Including students, designers, artists, or town residents. Please note this is a local community organization and connections to North Haven will be heavily weighted by the judges in selecting nominees.

• Participants under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian.

Design Requirements

• The logo must be original artwork created by the participant.

• Designs must be inclusive and representative of all forms of art, including (but not limited to) visual arts, performing arts, music, theater, dance, and cultural arts.

• Submissions must not include copyrighted or trademarked material.

• Designs should be suitable for use across multiple platforms (print, digital, merchandise, etc.).

Submission Guidelines

• Submit entries via the link on the top of the page

• Include the following:

  • Your full name

  • Contact information

  • Upload design in PDF, PNG, JPG, or JPEG

• Multiple submissions are allowed; each must be submitted separately.

Deadline

• All submissions must be received by June 8, 2026.

Judging & Selection

• Submissions will be reviewed by the North Haven Arts Collaborative.

• Finalists will be promoted and selected by a community vote.

• The winning design will be chosen based on creativity, originality, relevance to the mission, and versatility.

Prize

• The winning designer will:

  • Have their design become the official logo of the North Haven Arts Collaborative

  • Be credited as the artist

  • Be featured on our website and materials

  • Have sponsorship benefits at all events for the life of the logo

  • Select a North Haven Public Schools (NHPS) arts department of their choice to receive a $250 donation

Ownership & Usage

• By submitting an entry, participants agree that the North Haven Arts Collaborative may use, modify, and reproduce the design for branding and promotional purposes.

• The winning design becomes the property of the North Haven Arts Collaborative.

Additional Notes

• Incomplete submissions may not be considered.

• The North Haven Arts Collaborative reserves the right to not select a winner if submissions do not meet criteria.

By participating in this contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless North Haven Arts Collaborative and its affiliates from any and all liability, injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with this contest or the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Meta or any other social media platforms.  All decisions are final and at the discretion of the North Haven Arts Collaborative.
